Rickenbacker 360/12
9 available from $2,650Made famous by George Harrison in the ‘60s, the jangly Rickenbacker 360/12 12-string electric guitar has become perhaps one of the most iconic 12-string electrics. With a semi-hollow body and thru-body neck, the 360/12 is able to create a unique tone that is difficult to create with other 12-string guitars. Though this model has undergone many changes and seen many iterations through the years, the newer Rick 360/12 models have a slimmer neck and are still highly-sought instruments. - 7

Guild Starfire XII Cherry 1966
2 available from $2,100The Starfire XII was introduced as a 12-string version of Starfire IV and V. Like the rest of the Starfire series, the Starfire XII was part of Guild's efforts to break into the electric guitar market in the '60s. While these semi-hollowbodies are considered fine instruments and were adopted by some players at the time, they are of far less interest to collectors than their Gibson equivalents such as the ES-335.
Years of Production: 1966 - 1973
Body Style: Double cutaway semi-hollowbody
Wood Composition: Laminated Maple or Mahogany body, three-piece Maple/Mahogany neck, Rosewood fingerboard
Design Elements: Two humbucker pickups, chrome-plated hardware, harp tailpiece, four control knobs
Notable Starfire Players: Buddy Guy, Lightening Hopkins, Jerry Garcia - 50
Gibson Firebird V-12 1966 - 1967
One available for $60,000Gibson launched the Firebird design in 1963 with four main models: the Firebird I, II, V, and VII. Each was distinguished by different pickup and hardware configurations, though they all shared thru-body construction and a unique "reversed" body shape with a large lower horn. By mid-1965, Gibson changed the Firebird (as well as its counterpart Thunderbird bass) to a more traditional "non-reversed" body shape. In 1966 and 1967, Gibson issued a run of 12-string Firebird Vs. These featured two mini-humbuckers like the normal Firebird V, but had a fixed tailpiece instead of a vibrato.
Years of Production: 1966 - 1967
Body Style: Double cutaway solidbody
Unique to this Year: Only full year Firebird V was produced a 12-string.
Wood Composition: Mahogany body, Mahogany neck, Rosewood fingerboard
Design Elements: Two mini-humbucker pickups, 24 3/4-inch scale length, dot inlays, four control knobs, fixed tailpiece, glued neck, Firebird emblem
Finish Specifications: Sunburst was the standard finish for the Firebird V 12-string.

Vox Phantom XII Black 1966
One available for $5,605.78Vox made guitars in Italy and England between 1961 - 1969 (and later in Asia and the US) after developing their brand with effects and amps.
The Vox Phantom XII featured a unique five-sided body shape with three pickups in a twelve-string arrangement. A stereo version was produced in 1966.
The 1964 model was produced in England and is worth considerably more, while later models came out of Italy.
Years of Production: 1964 - 1967 - 57
Rickenbacker 350/12V63 2001 - 2007
One available for $3,956.38The Rickenbacker 350 was introduced as essentially a full-scale version of the 325, the guitar made famous by John Lennon. While this guitar is a semi-hollowbody, it lacks the slanted F-holes found on other 300 series Rickenbackers. The 350-12 is the 12-string version of the 350, and those bearing the designation V63 feature hardware and cosmetic details to replicate a model from 1963. The V63 models also use the name V63 Liverpool.
