About this listing
1989 370-12 Rickenbacker Guitar in a rare striking FireGlo finish I’m Excited to offer up this Rare and Vintage 1989 Rickenbacker 370/12 Roger McGuinn Signature 12-String Guitar with a deep red FireGlo Finish and a beautifully figured top! This Rickenbacker 370/12 is one of 1000 limited edition models and features a semi-hollow Maple body with a three-piece Maple/Walnut neck and Rosewood fingerboard. Built to emulate the distinct rock sound of the '60s created by the Byrds' guitarist, it has three Rickenbacker Toaster-style Hi-Gain pickups. It has a slightly shorter 24.75" scale length, and a nice 1.63" nut width. Appointments include a Roger McGuinn signature pickguard, cream checkerboard binding, vintage-style tuners, shark fin inlays and an R-tailpiece. Has an Onboard compressor. A magnificent-sounding guitar, this limited edition Rickenbacker Roger McGuinn signature guitar in FireGlo is getting harder and harder to find, and this is a great opportunity to get your hands on one! This Iconic Instrument is in Great Shape with a couple of finish touch ups, checking that just follows the wood grain pattern over the body, I can’t tell if actually checking or actually just the nitro finish sunk into the grain pattern, because it does follow the grain, it’s not the spiderweb checking I can tell you that, it’s a beautiful finish, minimal fret wear and a few dings/indents rating a 9/10. ALL Original. NO Breaks, Cracks or Repairs! The guitar is fitted with strings by Stringjoy! Includes Hard Shell Case.
