The legendary Silvertone 1446 is back, combining the unmistakable style and character of the original 1960s model with modern construction and improved playability.

Finished in striking Gloss Black, the 1446 VBK features a single-cutaway, chambered arched maple body with center-block construction. This design delivers the warmth and resonance players expect from a semi-hollow guitar while improving sustain and helping control unwanted feedback onstage.

A pair of Wilkinson R-Series mini-humbucking pickups provides the clear, warm and harmonically rich sound associated with the original Silvertone 1446. Inspired by the rare Seth Lover-designed P19 pickups, these Alnico V mini humbuckers can move easily from articulate cleans and bluesy warmth to gritty rock, roots, country and alternative tones.

The comfortable mahogany neck features a modern soft-C profile, a 24.75-inch scale length and a 12-inch-radius rosewood fingerboard with pearloid block inlays. Silvertone Easy Feel ball-end frets provide smooth, comfortable playability across the neck.

A genuine Bigsby B70 vibrato adds expressive pitch movement and classic vintage styling. It is paired with a Tune-o-matic-style bridge with roller saddles for smoother vibrato operation and improved tuning stability.
