Vintage Voice, Modern Versatility

The heart of this Strat's tone comes from a trio of hand-wound '69 Underwound single-coils. These pickups deliver that iconic, glassy '60s chime and bell-like clarity, but with a touch more sparkle and articulation. The real magic, however, lies in the Fat 50’s ½ Blend wiring. This intuitive control scheme lets you blend the neck pickup into positions one and two, unlocking those sought-after Tele-style bridge-and-neck tones or even all three pickups at once. It’s a subtle but powerful tool that dramatically expands your sonic palette.

Fender’s Custom Shop didn't stop at the tone. The neck is a piece of art in itself, crafted from AAA roasted flame maple for incredible stability and a smooth, broken-in feel. It’s carved into a comfortable ’65 Strat “C” profile that feels just right. Paired with a compound 9.5”-12.0” radius AAA rosewood fingerboard and 21 medium jumbo stainless steel frets, you get the best of both worlds: comfortable chording down low and effortless, choke-free bending up high. The modern Elite heel contour provides easy access to the upper frets, making this a true player's instrument through and through.
