~Features~

・Ergonomic Body Design

The EHB body design is based on ergonomics to ensure the instrument fits the player perfectly, whether playing standing or seated.

The horn is shaped to balance the body and neck while standing and to be easy to hold, while the body curve on the high-string side is designed with a particular emphasis on fit and balance when playing seated.

The area of the body surface where the elbow rests features a contoured bevel. Additionally, all body edges that come into contact with the body are finished with smooth rounded corners.

The back of the body is boldly cut to taper toward the low strings. This design enhances the fit during seated playing and takes into account the angle at which the player views the fingerboard inlays.

Furthermore, to facilitate access to the high-fret areas, the back of the horn on the treble side is cut in a scooped shape.

The body features chambering to allow for a more intuitive sense of its resonance.

By physically feeling the vibrations inside the body—much like a hollow-body guitar—the player can better recognize the sound they are producing.

This also results in a slight reduction in weight.

・9-piece Panga Panga/Walnut neck with graphite reinforcement rods

We’ve adopted a 9-piece neck combining Panga Panga and walnut.

Both are hardwoods that facilitate a clear tonal image and are characterized by a crisp, well-defined sound.

・Panga Panga fretboard & Medium Stainless Steel frets

We’ve adopted a Panga Panga fretboard, which, due to the hardness of the wood, adds a clear core to the tonal image.

・Luminescent side dot inlay

The fretboard features luminescent side dot position markers.

・Nordstrand Custom Big Split pickup

Equipped with a Nordstrand Big Split custom pickup.

This split pickup delivers a rich low end with a sweet tone. It naturally covers everything from sounds ideal for bass lines to funky slap sounds.

・MR5HS mono rail bridge with adjustable-spacing saddles

It features a newly developed, proprietary headless-specific bridge.

Tuning is performed by turning the bridge end. While the stiffness of this turning mechanism was a weakness in competitors’ products, we’ve achieved smooth operation by combining our unique design with Teflon washers.

The saddles can be moved 1.5 mm to the left or right, allowing you to adjust the spacing between strings (string pitch) to your preference within the adjustable range. This enables fine-tuning to suit your playing style.

・Newly designed headpieces for EHB

These are newly developed, proprietary headpieces.

You can easily set and release the strings by turning them from the back with a hex wrench.
