■TEISCO Spectrum SP-62 Kawai Reissue Metallic Blue Made in Japan 2001

■Features

The TEISCO Spectrum SP-62 Kawai Reissue in Metallic Blue is a Japanese-made reissue model that allows you to enjoy the distinctive character of a 1960s bizarre guitar in a contemporary way.

The combination of its original offset body shape and vivid metallic blue finish creates a striking presence that commands attention on stage or in any collection. The flowing body lines signature to the Spectrum series, paired with a white-toned pickguard and decorative design elements, deliver a retro-futuristic aesthetic you won't find on other guitars.

With its distinctive looks that stand apart from typical Strat or Les Paul types, this is an exceptionally appealing choice for those seeking a guitar that won't blend into the crowd.

Equipped with two split-coil pickups featuring square pole pieces, it delivers the individualistic sonic character TEISCO is known for. From crisp, articulate tones to sounds with unique resonance and sustain, this guitar excels in garage rock, surf, indie, and alternative-oriented soundscapes.

The three color switches—red, yellow, and green—are a defining feature of this model. Beyond their visual impact, they offer intuitive sound switching with a playful character that lets you experience TEISCO's distinctive joy with every performance.

This is an irresistible highlight for bizarre guitar enthusiasts.

Featuring an adjustable bridge and vibrato unit, this guitar combines classic aesthetics with expanded tonal expression. The vibrato works beautifully for subtle shimmer on chords and atmosphere-focused phrases, making it genuinely enjoyable to play, not just a visual statement.

The 2001 Kawai-era TEISCO reissue's Made in Japan craftsmanship is a compelling feature. With the warranty documentation listing the SP-62 and color MB, and original period paperwork included, collectors will appreciate these authentic details.

While the exterior shows some light scratches, dings, and minor paint crazing on the headstock, the overall condition remains excellent. The vivid metallic blue finish retains its beautiful luster, and with the character that comes with age, this is an instrument ready for years of enjoyment.

Included accessories include a soft case, warranty documentation, instruction manual, and other items visible in the photos. While the soft case carries fragrance notes from its storage period, the complete set of original documentation is a significant bonus.

Highly recommended for those seeking a distinctive Japanese-made TEISCO that's difficult to find elsewhere.

With its original aesthetics, individualistic sound, Made in Japan reliability, and complete original documentation for collectors, this SP-62 is a truly compelling instrument.

Whether for practical use or collection, this is a guitar that impresses. If you love bizarre guitars or TEISCO, please don't miss this opportunity.
