This TPP Kurt Cobain "Smells Like Teen Spirit" Competition Mustang Tribute (Relic) has been produced by The Painted Player Guitar Co. in the UK using completely modified Fender American Performer Mustang re-finished in an authentic Faded / Oxidised Lake Placid Blue with Sonic Blue Competition Stripe to present the guitar as accurately as possible based upon archive images of the original. Featuring a Seymour Duncan 'Hotrail' in the bridge position and Tune-o-Matic Bridge mod based upon Cobain's own specs, the idea behind this spec is to give the player access to Fender American production quality but modded to the 69' design, re-introducing the dual slider-selector switches and incorporating proper Fender 'F' Tuners and single vintage string guide just like Cobain's. She sports modern neck design features such as headstock-adjustable trussrod and Walnut Skunk Stripe on the profile but this is a full-blooded Fender American Mustang that delivers superb playability and performance.

With a beautifully accurate relic detailing including VOS / Aged hardware and equipment, this is a must for fans looking for something a little bit special and comes complete with FREE Fender Hardcase at the Full Asking Price!!!
