Ibanez SR1320SB — The Bass That Means Business

Some basses ask you to compromise. The SR1320SB doesn't know the word.

Built around a sleek Ash top/African Mahogany body, this bass is as easy on the eyes as it is on your shoulder — lightweight enough for marathon gigs, resonant enough to fill a room. The 5-piece Panga Panga/Purpleheart neck, reinforced with KTS Titanium rods, feels like it was carved specifically for your hand: fast, stable, and built to last a lifetime of serious playing.

Under your fingers, the Panga Panga fretboard snaps back with tight lows and razor-sharp highs, while medium frets with Premium edge treatment make every note land exactly where you intend it — no snagging, no second-guessing.

The real magic happens in the pickups. Nordstrand Big Break soapbars deliver the muscle of a split-coil with the articulation of a single-coil — thick, aggressive, and crystal clear all at once. Pair that with Ibanez's Custom 3-band EQ, a 3-way mid-frequency switch, and an EQ bypass that drops you straight into a pure passive signal, and you have tonal options that most basses at this price point can only dream about.

Gotoh tuners keep you locked in. The MR5S bridge lets you dial in your exact string spacing. Even the gig bag is purpose-built.

This is a bass engineered for players who know exactly what they want — and refuse to settle for anything less.
