A Pint-Sized Powerhouse with a Honeyburst Glow

Meet the Taylor GS Mini-e in a stunning, limited Honeyburst finish. Don't let its compact size fool you, this guitar is a cannon. Built on the beloved GS Mini platform, it delivers a rich, full-voiced acoustic experience that rivals guitars twice its size. Whether you're a traveling musician, a songwriter looking for an inspiring couch companion, or a player with a smaller frame, the GS Mini-e offers incredible comfort and playability without sacrificing an ounce of that signature Taylor tone.

Tone Woods That Punch Above Their Weight

The formula here is classic Taylor, a solid Sitka Spruce top paired with layered Sapele back and sides. The Sitka top provides the horsepower, offering a wide dynamic range with a crisp, articulate attack that blooms beautifully whether you're strumming hard or fingerpicking softly. The Sapele back and sides add a punchy, focused midrange and a touch of top-end sparkle, ensuring the sound is balanced and clear. The matte finish on the whole guitar feels fantastic and lets the wood breathe, contributing to its open, resonant voice.

Ready for the Stage with ES-B Electronics

When you're ready to plug in, the onboard ES-B electronics have you covered. This system faithfully translates the guitar's natural acoustic warmth, and it includes a built-in digital chromatic tuner, which is an absolute lifesaver for quick tune-ups between songs. Simple tone and volume controls make it easy to dial in your sound on the fly. It’s a straightforward, reliable system that makes this Mini a fantastic gigging partner for coffee shop sets or open mic nights.

Effortless Playability

The magic of the GS Mini is its feel. The slightly shorter 23-1/2" scale length makes complex chords and long reaches feel effortless, while the 1-11/16" nut width is comfortable for both strumming and intricate fingerstyle work. The Neo-Tropical Mahogany neck has Taylor's Standard Carve, a profile that feels just right, that's not too thick, not too thin. Paired with a slick West African Crelicam Ebony fretboard, the whole package is a joy to play for hours on end.

- In business since 1976! Moore Music has been a premier brick-and-mortar guitar shop in Evansville, Indiana since shortly after opening in 1976. Founder, Pat Moore, instilled in his business the concept of old-school service that we build upon today. When the current owner, Brett Mulzer, took the store online as Moore Guitars in 2013, we quickly developed a reputation for honesty and integrity in all our interactions with our customers. That’s a prime reason why we’re the fastest-growing online guitar shop.

- Old School Customer Service: Nothing is more important than helping a customer even if we don’t make a sale. We believe that if we’re honest with you, and treat you right, you’ll be back. Call us, or chat with us online. We love talking about guitars, and we want to help you find your perfect instrument. Even if it’s not from us.... but we think it will be!

- Our sales staff are all musicians! What’s more important than communication? We speak your language. Whether you’re a beginner or a professional player, we’ve been in your shoes. A lot of aspects of the guitar are intangible, and a non-player just can’t understand. It’s a guitar thing. But we can talk about tone and feel in the same language you use. We know what it means to love an instrument, and we want to help you find your new love.

You should have NO disappointments when you see this guitar and hold it for its first strum! Please call the staff at Moore Guitars if you would like to have a personal “on the phone” description of this guitar. Thank you for looking at our listing!
