1987 Gibson U-2 in original Gibson "Ferrari Red" colour. This is an extremely rare first-year model with the Jackson Soloist "lawsuit" angled headstock that was quickly changed to the Gibson Explorer rounded "hockey stick" headstock. The U-2 is a very rare model only made from 1987 to 1989. You will never find one of these in your local guitar shop. Three individual pickup selector switches with coil tap for the humbucker. Incredible condition for a 40 year old guitar. Minor marks and checking as to be expected from Gibsons of this era. Original hard case. The guitar lived as a case queen in a major London recording studio. If you want the very best, you are looking at it. A must-have for any collector. Also a great player for the artist wanting to stand out on stage with something no one else has. Definitely a conversation starter, especially with the factory "Jackson" headstock.
Worldwide shipping to any country. Will be professionally packed and shipped with UPS or FedEx. I am selling off my famous guitar collection, so follow me here and check out my other listings.
