The Fishman Flex Blend preamp electronics provide an undersaddle pickup with an internal microphone and individual volume, tone, and blend controls for precise tonal shaping. With Grover Gold open-gear machine head tuners, this vintage-style guitar enjoys perfectly stable tuning. The Gold-A10 includes a hard case.

Torrefied Solid Adirondack Spruce Top

The Cort Gold-A10 Cocobolo features a solid Adirondack spruce AA-grade top, celebrated for its outstanding acoustic properties. Known for its exceptional clarity and powerful projection, this top wood provides a wide dynamic range, making it perfect for both delicate fingerpicking and vigorous strumming.

The AA grade ensures tight even grain, enhancing both tonal quality and aesthetic appeal. As it ages, the Adirondack spruce top develops an even richer, more resonant tone. Additionally, the torrefied top accelerates aging, further enhancing its acoustic properties.

Solid Cocobolo Back and Sides

Solid Cocobolo is a dense, stiff tropical hardwood celebrated for its rich, warm tone and striking visual appeal. Cocobolo produces a fairly bright overall tone emphasized by sparkling treble notes and resonates a little deeper on the low end.

The wood's density contributes to excellent projection and sustain, while the natural oiliness gives a smooth, glossy finish. The AAA grade ensures the highest quality, with deep reds, oranges, and browns, often highlighted by dramatic black streaks.

Cocobolo and Abalone Rosette

The guitar features a Cocobolo and abalone rosette, where the rich tones of Cocobolo pair beautifully with the shimmering abalone. This detail enhances the overall elegance and artistic quality of the instrument.

Natural Bone Nut and Saddle

Natural bone is favored for guitar nuts and saddles due to its ability to enhance resonance, sustain, and clarity. As a dense material, bone transmits string vibrations more effectively than synthetic alternatives, enriching the guitar's sound with richer nuances. The use of a bone nut and saddle improves tuning stability, playability, and overall tonal quality, making it a top choice for premium acoustic guitars.

Ebony Fretboard

Ebony is a highly prized tonewood known for its density, smooth texture, and striking dark appearance. Renowned for its durability and resistance to wear, ebony is often used for guitar bridges, fretboards, and bridge pins.

Cort Gold-A10 Cocobolo features an ebony bridge and fretboard, providing a sleek, smooth playing surface and contributing to a clear, articulate tone with excellent sustain. The ebony bridge pins enhance string stability and add to the instrument's overall aesthetic appeal. The use of ebony in these key components ensures a premium playing experience and exceptional sound quality.

Padauk Binding with Maple Purfling

Cort Gold-A10 Cocobolo is distinguished by its Padauk binding and maple purfling, which together enhance its visual appeal with a striking contrast of colors. Padauk, known for its vivid red hue, outlines the body and neck, complementing the lighter, delicate lines of the maple purfling.

This combination not only frames the guitar's contours but also highlights its meticulous craftsmanship. The contrasting colors and textures add depth and a luxurious feel, making the guitar a visually captivating piece.

Fishman Flex Blend System

Fishman Flex Blend System preamp features a sophisticated audio enhancement that offers exceptional control over your sound. The system combines an under-saddle pickup with an internal microphone, allowing for a blend of both sources to perfectly capture the guitar's natural acoustics.

It features a simple and intuitive control layout with volume, tone, and blend controls, enabling precise sound shaping. Additionally, the preamp includes a built-in tuner for convenient on-the-fly pitch adjustments. The Fishman Flex Blend System is ideal for both live performances and studio sessions, ensuring the guitar's amplified sound is as rich and authentic as its acoustic tone.

Cocobolo Headplate

Cocobolo headplate, coupled with a distinctive Gold series abalone inlay, adds elegance and a touch of luxury to the guitar. The rich colors and intricate grain patterns of Cocobolo make each headplate unique, enhancing the guitar's visual appeal.

Grover Gold Machine Heads

The Gold-A10 Cocobolo is equipped with Grover's gold-colored vintage open-gear machine heads, combining classic aesthetics with modern functionality. They are renowned for their 18:1 ratio, precise tuning stability, and smooth operation, ideal for both performance and studio settings.
