A used Gibson Custom Shop Historic Collection 1959 ES-335 Reissue DOT INLAYS/Vintage Sunburst (2011) has arrived!
The ES-335, synonymous with semi-acoustic guitars, features a hollow body combined with a center block. It has been beloved by countless legendary guitarists.
This Historic Collection model boasts details unique to 1959, including a long pickguard and dot position markers.
Thanks to the meticulous craftsmanship characteristic of the Custom Shop, you can experience its rich, resonant natural tone.
Both front and rear positions are equipped with Gibson 57 Classic pickups.
Long regarded as a faithful P.A.F. replica, this model delivers a sweet, smooth, and expressive tone while maintaining the characteristic thickness of a humbucker. It provides a sound that truly captures the essence of the ES-335, from clean to driven tones.
The neck features a slightly thicker 50s-style profile.
It enhances tonal density and sustain while offering excellent playability, with particularly impressive ease when playing low chords.
It achieves a high level of balance between a secure feel during play and excellent resonance.
Based on the manufacturing date stamp on the pickup back and the serial number, this particular instrument is determined to be from 2011.
The label clearly states “Nashville Tennessee U.S.A.”
Approximately 15 years have passed since manufacture, so minor scratches from aging and use, along with some tarnish on metal parts, are visible.
However, the overall condition is very good. We have confirmed ample truss rod adjustment range in both directions.
We performed a full maintenance after receiving it, so it's ready to play right away.
Included accessories: Certificate of Authenticity, original Gibson hard case, and others (please refer to the product image section).
