The Schecter Guitar Research Stiletto Extreme-4 bass delivers massive low end and effortless playability. Featuring a figured maple top, mahogany body and maple neck, this 4-string bass produces a flexible yet focused tone that cuts through the mix. The pair of Schecter Diamond Bass humbucking pickups are wired to an active 2-band EQ, enabling you to achieve a huge range of sounds from deep funk to aggressive rock. Finished in an eye-catching See-Thru Black or Black Cherry gloss, the Stiletto Extreme-4 is a high-performance bass built for today's bassists.
Figured Maple Top Adds Visual Intrigue
The Stiletto Extreme-4's figured maple top is a feast for the eyes, with an artistic woodgrain pattern that makes a bold visual statement. The top is expertly bookmatched, sanded and buffed to a high gloss for a stunning finish. The maple top also contributes to the bass's articulate, focused tone by adding brightness and clarity.
Diamond Bass Pickups Deliver Power and Versatility
A pair of Schecter Diamond Bass humbucking pickups provides the Stiletto Extreme-4 with a wide range of tones. The pickups feature a hot output and extended low end that produces a punchy, modern sound. Combined with the onboard active 2-band EQ, the Diamond Bass pickups enable you to achieve tones from fat and slappy to aggressive and distorted. Roll back the tone for a warm, vintage thump or boost the mids and highs for extra cut and sizzle.
Fast Maple Neck Plays Like a Dream
The Stiletto Extreme-4's maple neck offers a smooth, fast-playing feel that bassists will love. Its slim profile and shallow C-shape provide comfortable playability, while the 24 jumbo frets allow for expressive soloing and melodic lines. A rosewood fingerboard adds warmth and richness to the bass's tone. The Stiletto Extreme-4's neck is designed for high-speed play but remains versatile enough for any style.
Rock-Solid Components for Worry-Free Play
High-quality components like Grover tuners, a bone nut and sturdy hardware give the Stiletto Extreme-4 excellent stability and durability. The 4-string bridge provides accurate intonation for perfectly tuned playing up and down the neck. These professional-grade parts allow you to rock out on stage or in the studio with total confidence in your instrument.
