2011 PRS SC-58 in Stunning Santana Yellow - Mint Condition, Award-Winning Tone Monster!
For sale: Pristine 2011 Paul Reed Smith SC-58 (Singlecut 58) in the iconic Santana Yellow finish.
This is a rare opportunity to own one of PRS's most celebrated Core models from their short production run (2011-2014). The SC-58 won the prestigious Musikmesse International Press Award (MIPA) for "Best Electric Guitar" in 2011/2012 – often called the "Grammy" of the guitar world – thanks to its vintage-inspired design, flawless playability, and killer tone.
Condition: Excellent/mint – minor play wear, no dings, scratches, or buckle rash. It's been babied in a smoke-free home studio, rarely played, and looks/sounds like it just left the factory. Frets are perfect with minor play wear. Includes hardshell case, hang tags, and all case candy.
Key Specs:
- Artist-grade carved figured maple top over mahogany body
- Mahogany neck with Pattern carve
- Rosewood fretboard with bound neck and mother-of-pearl/paua heart bird inlays
- 24.5" scale length, 22 frets
- PRS 57/08 humbuckers (vintage-voiced with exceptional clarity and growl)
- PRS two-piece adjustable stoptail bridge (brass/aluminum for enhanced resonance – previously Private Stock only)
- Phase III locking tuners
- V12 finish (thin, resonant blend of nitro and modern tech – no checking)
- Controls: 2 volume, 2 tone, 3-way toggle
- Weighing in at 7.8 lbs
The Santana Yellow fade is vibrant and eye-catching under stage lights – a classic PRS color that's far less common than bursts on the SC-58. The flame on the top pops beautifully, and paired with the 57/08 pickups, this guitar delivers thick, singing leads, warm cleans, and aggressive overdrive that rivals (or surpasses) the best vintage singlecuts.
If you're chasing that perfect blend of modern PRS refinement and old-school singlecut vibe, this is it. No mods, all original, ready to ship safely.
