Electronic Audio Experiments Model feT Preamp Pedal

The Electronic Audio Experiments Model feT: amp inspired tone in a pedal Authentic Preamp Character

The Model feT is a faithful recreation of the classic Fender tone stack preamp in pedal form. Designed with carefully voiced gain stages, it delivers the harmonic richness and responsive dynamics of a vintage amplifier, while maintaining the convenience of a compact stompbox.

Versatile Gain Structure

From sparkling cleans to pushed tube-like overdrive, the Model feT adapts easily to different playing contexts. The cascaded transistor stages mimic the warmth and touch sensitivity of a traditional preamp, making it a versatile choice whether you are running into a clean power amp, enhancing an existing rig, or recording direct.

Tone Stack Controls

A traditional three-band EQ provides intuitive tonal sculpting. The familiar bass, middle, and treble controls allow for precise shaping of frequencies, while preserving the interactive feel of the original amp circuit. This ensures the pedal integrates seamlessly into your setup, no matter what instrument or style you play.

Built for Integration

The Model feT is equally effective as an always-on foundation or as a dynamic gain stage within a broader signal chain. Its wide frequency response and amp-like feel make it an excellent match for guitar, baritone, or bass. With true bypass relay switching, it maintains absolute signal integrity when disengaged.

Power and Reliability

This pedal operates on 9V DC with a standard center negative barrel connector measuring approximately 0.083 inches. It draws moderate current and is designed for use with a regulated, isolated power supply for best performance. Engineered with robust construction and circuit protection, the Model feT is built to last.
