Shipping Policy
We usually ship with tracking number, insurance, signature required, anywhere in the CONUS, and typically use USPS or UPS depending on best option to deliver quickly at lowest cost.

General Terms
Items must be returned in original, as-shipped condition with all original packaging and no signs of use. Buyer assumes responsibility for all return shipping costs unless the item was not received as described.
Special Conditions
The previously-mentioned 15% restocking fee is subject to change and is dependent on our inspection of the returned item(s). Please see the information below.

"What does the refund policy mean for me?"
Hopefully, the following will clarify most return scenarios.
1. "The item was as described. I just don't like it"...
If the item arrived as described, your return will be processed once the item arrives back to us and an inspection determines it to be in "as sold" condition. We will issue your refund, less outbound and/or return shipping that we (Five Star Guitars) have paid.
2. “I want to return the item, but it is no longer exactly as sold”…
If, on return, our inspection finds the item is no longer in "as sold" condition (including missing protective plastic, showing playwear, missing accessories or packing materials), then a restocking fee will be deducted from the refund amount, as well as outbound and/or return shipping that we (Five Star Guitars) have paid.
3. “What if an item arrives and is different than the condition described in the listing?
If an item arrives with discrepancies from the description in the listing, we may ask if you are interested in keeping the item with a partial refund. By accepting this partial refund, you acknowledge that you waive the right to return the item for any other reason, except in the case of a manufacturer defect. This agreement is final once you agree to these conditions. Any future requests to return the item for reasons other than a manufacturer defect will not be honored.
3. "The item I received is not as described in the listing"...
If the item is not as described in the listing, but is in the same condition as you received it, we may ask if you are interested in keeping the item with a partial refund. By accepting this partial refund, you acknowledge that you waive the right to return the item for any other reason, except in the case of a manufacturer defect. This agreement is final once you agree to these conditions. Any future requests to return the item for reasons other than a manufacturer defect will not be honored.
Otherwise, we will issue a full refund on return arrival, pending our inspection of the item.
4. "This item is defective or damaged, and it does not appear to be from shipping damage"...
If, on return, our inspection of the item finds it to have some non-shipping-related defect, we will refund payment in full. If, on return, our inspection finds no defect, a restocking fee will be deducted from the refund amount, as well as outbound and/or return shipping that we (Five Star Guitars) have paid.
5. "The Item was damaged in shipping."...
If there was shipping damage, please save all shipping materials and contact us right away. We will need to open a claim before sending a return label.
Other important return information:
• Please provide an email address and a description of the reason for your return request. We, on approval of the request, will email a return label to be used on the original packaging. This includes the original shipping box and all internal packing materials.
• “What about the sales tax that I paid?”
o Five Star Guitars is a brick-and-mortar store based in the state of Oregon and is currently not required to collect sales tax. Reverb.com, as a third-party marketplace, is solely in charge of collecting sales tax and should refund the correct amount at the time of refund.
• Some items are non-returnable, including books, DVDs; software and other media; microphones; earplugs and other in-ear products; throat spray, talk-box effects, mouthpieces, reeds, and other mouth-related products; tubes; head-worn items; harmonicas; DJ/Recording gear, and consignments.
