Shipping Policy
We usually ship with tracking number, insurance, signature required, anywhere in the CONUS, and typically use USPS or UPS depending on best option to deliver quickly at lowest cost.

New Items
Returnable within 14 days of delivery.

Used & Vintage Items
Returnable within 7 days of delivery.

General Terms
Items must be returned in original, as-shipped condition with all original packaging and no signs of use. Buyer assumes responsibility for all return shipping costs unless the item was not received as described.

The above mention of restocking fee % is subject to change dependent on our inspection of returned item. Please see the scenarios described below.

"What does the refund policy mean for me?"
Hopefully, these scenarios will clarify any return scenario.
"The item was as described I just don't like it"...
If the item was as described, your return will be processed once the item arrives back to us and an inspection determines it to be in AS SOLD condition, we will refund less any actual outbound and return shipping/handling that WE have paid.
“I want to return the item but it is no longer exactly as sold”…
If on return the inspection finds the item is not in exactly as sold condition (missing protective plastic, playwear, missing accessories, or materials) then a restocking fee (based off necessary repairs or discounts we that will need to adjust to the sell price) as well as any actual outbound and return shipping/handling that WE have paid will be deducted from the refund amount.
"On receiving the item is not as described in the listing"...
If the item is not as described but in as sold condition, we will issue a full refund on return arrival after an inspection.
"This item is defective and not from shipping damage"...
If on return inspection the item is found to have some non-shipping related defect we will refund payment in full. If on return the inspection finds there is no defect found see return scenario #2.
"The Item was damaged in shipping."...
If there was shipping damage save all shipping materials and let us know right away as we will need to open a claim before sending a return label.
• Please confirm this email address is where we can send a return label to be used on ALL original packaging to return.
• “What about the sales tax I paid?”
o Five Star Guitars brick and mortar store is a sole location based in the state of Oregon and is currently not required to collect ANY sales tax. Reverb.com marketplace is solely in charge of collection of sales tax and should refund the correct amount at the time we issue a refund.
• Some items are non-returnable, including books, DVDs, ; software and other media; microphones; earplugs and other in-ear products; throat spray, talk-box effects, mouthpieces, reeds, and other mouth-related products; tubes; head-worn items; harmonicas; DJ/Recording gear, and consignments.
