Martin pulled from its premium koa stores to create this highly figured new HPL pattern. This beautiful pattern is not only on its back and sides, but also the guitar's top. Extremely durable HPL in a gorgeous koa look at an extremely affordable price.
Dreadnought Sound
The D-X1E Koa is a full-size Dreadnought, the iconic acoustic guitar body shape created in 1916. The 25.4" scale length coupled with a 14-fret neck to body design carries on Martin tradition. This combined with scalloped X bracing delivers pure Dreadnought tone.
