The world's first and only "all rosewood" snare drum in the 1980s. That is the Mastercraft Rosewood snare drum. Rosewood is famous as a fingerboard material for guitars, and it has also been used as an exterior material for drums, but because it is an extremely hard material, it is still difficult to produce an all-rosewood drum shell even now, even with advanced technology. is difficult. However, its dark tone, sweet sound, and powerful sound made it extremely popular among drummers who were looking for a new sound, and the recognition that rosewood = TAMA was established. This 50th anniversary limited model reproduces the sounds of yesteryear. The unique sound unique to rosewood is sure to provide a wonderful musical experience not only for those familiar with that era, but also for those who are new to this sound.

(7.5mm 15ply All Indian Rosewood Shell)

Rosewood is famous as a fingerboard material for guitars, and has also been used as an exterior material for drums, but because it is an extremely hard material, it is difficult to produce an all-rosewood drum shell even today, even with advanced technology. is difficult. However, its dark tone, sweet sound, and powerful sound made it extremely popular among drummers who were looking for a new sound, and rosewood became known as TAMA. The 7.5mm 15ply all-rosewood shell features dark, deep tones and powerful sound.

(18 strands Carbon Steel Long Snare Wires/full surface snare wire)

Adopts an 18-wire carbon steel snare wire and filament tape that reproduces the specifications of the time. Compared to the inner surface contact method, only the snare wire contacts the back head, resulting in a more sensitive response.

(Roller Action Strainer)

This is an innovative strainer that has a simple design and improved operability, while realizing the fine tonal expression and voluminous buzz of a snare wire on the entire surface. The key point is his guide roller that moves up and down with a width of 3mm, and a small spring that assists in its movement. It is possible to increase the drop of the snare wire, and the repulsive force of the spring is used to ensure that the guide roller separates from the head. This made it easy to switch the strainer on and off, and its simple structure attracted a lot of attention. This strainer, once discontinued, has been faithfully reproduced in this model. You can experience its unique tone and operability again.

(6302N Strainer)

A strainer switch/bat that faithfully reproduces the original. In particular, we have even recreated the engraving on the strainer switch that says "OWARIASAHI/AICHI JAPAN," meaning Owariasahi City, Aichi Prefecture, which is the name of the place where TAMA drums were produced at the time. Additionally, durability has been improved by changing the diameter of the square head bolt that holds the filament tape holding plate from 4mm to 5mm.

(Die-Cast Hoop 10 hole)

The 10-tension Die-Cast Hoop was not common in the early 80's, but it was applied to all Mastercraft series to obtain a clear attack and clear sound. The snare side hoop has been reprinted with a window shape that prevents the snare wire from touching the floor.

(One Touch Tone Control)

Inside muffler developed for the original Mastercraft snare. At the time Mastercraft was released, recording technology had not yet developed and sound control of the drum itself was important, so it was used on many drums. In particular, One Touch Tone Control received high praise as an extremely innovative idea, as it allowed for subtle mute adjustment and one-touch on/off switching. This mechanism, which allows you to instantly switch sounds even during a performance, opens up new sound possibilities even in today's world of advanced recording technology.

(Original Superstar Badge & Superstar Lug)

Reprint of the original T-shaped Superstar emblem. The Original Superstar rug has also been recreated in appearance.

(REMO AMBASSADOR Coated TAMA 50th Anniversary version)

We have adopted REMO AMBASSADOR Coated Batter/Snare Side, which is a reproduction of the logo printed at the time.
