This is an incredible 1959 Fender Jazzmaster, previously poorly refinished, that has been restored to near original quality in a gorgeous Olympic White. Minus the circuit select switch and the finish, this guitar is in near original condition and plays and sounds fantastic. The original late 50's Jazzmaster pickups are clear, vocal, and have a great spank to them that only Jazzmasters can get.
This particular guitar has an alder body, a maple neck, a lovely chocolatey Brazilian rosewood slab board, and an incredible refinish in Olympic white, complete with checking, sun fading, and authentic wear. The frets are in great condition, and are very playable. The refinished neck is a comfortable C shape, and is one of the best playing vintage Fender necks we've seen. The nut and decal have been replaced as well.
The original neck date was gone long ago, but was authenticated along with the guitar to be from the middle of 1959. A date has been added for appearance, but is not meant to purport anything besides an estimated age.
Serial #29508 comes with a non-original tweed case. The guitar weighs 8.15 lbs
