This is the very first Tobias Growler built. It is THE prototype and was presented to a good friend of mine who helped Michael Tobias design it. It is basicly new because it was never sold until the original owner (who is a personal friend) sold it to me.

It has 18v electronics, Bartollini pickup, maple neck and pau ferro fretboard. Super slim neck and plays like butter. Original owner displayed it in his music store for a short while back in the 90's after receiving it but had since remained in his home until I finally convinced him to allow me to purchase it.

I bought it strictly as a collector piece but life and medical bills have convinced me to allow someone else to own it now. The instrument has never been gigged and only played a couple times in my home studio that is N/S and humidity controlled.

My tech set it up for me with new strings and low action. Original factory strings are included in gigbag just for nostalgia sake. This is a one of a kind opportunity for a reasonably priced collectors item.
