Dynamic acoustic tone with modern playability defines the Ibanez AAD51CE, an acoustic-electric built to deliver stronger projection, balanced response and confident performance both unplugged and amplified. Part of the Advanced Acoustic series, it pairs a Grand Dreadnought body—proportionally 5% larger than a traditional dreadnought—with a 25.6" scale length to produce firm low end, wide dynamics and a responsive feel. A solid Sitka spruce top with sapele back and sides creates a clear, balanced voice with shimmering highs, defined mids and full-bodied lows, while X-M bracing enhances sensitivity across a range of playing intensities. Built for acoustic and amplified use, the AAD51CE includes an Ibanez T-bar undersaddle pickup and AEQ-TP2 preamp with Bass, Treble and Volume controls plus an onboard tuner. A Low Oval Grip okoume neck with a 1.7" nut width and 15.75" fretboard radius supports comfortable playability, while the A.I.R.port soundhole and Advanced Access Cutaway improve player feedback and upper-fret reach for live performance, recording and extended practice.

The AAD51CE features Ibanez’s Grand Dreadnought body, proportionally 5% larger than a standard dreadnought to increase internal air volume. This added size enhances projection and low-end depth while keeping the response balanced across the strings. Its longer 25.6" scale length helps maintain string tension and clarity, and careful ergonomic shaping keeps the body comfortable to play during long sessions.

A solid Sitka spruce top provides fast response and strong articulation, allowing notes to remain clear under both light and aggressive attack. Sapele back and sides add warmth and midrange body while retaining brightness, giving the guitar a flexible tonal character that adapts well to fingerstyle playing, strumming, and dynamic transitions.

Ibanez’s X-M bracing is designed to efficiently transmit string vibration through the bridge and top. The scalloped X-bracing pattern, along with carefully placed tone and finger braces, supports clear lows, crisp highs, and a controlled midrange. This structure allows the guitar to respond naturally to changes in attack, supporting a wide dynamic range and consistent projection.

The built-in A.I.R.port uses an internal sound-reflection structure to guide sound waves toward a precisely positioned soundhole. This helps players hear themselves more clearly while playing, improving awareness and control during practice, rehearsals, and live performance. The system is especially helpful in ensemble or amplified situations where acoustic feedback can be limited.
