The Fender American Professional Telecaster in Oxblood combines the traditional two-pickup Telecaster layout with updated switching and hardware. Its alder body receives a polyurethane Oxblood finish and is paired with a rosewood fingerboard, four-ply tortoiseshell pickguard, and nickel/chrome hardware.
The maple neck has Fender’s Deep “C” profile with a “Super-Natural” satin urethane finish along the back and gloss urethane on the headstock face. A 9.5"-radius rosewood fingerboard carries 22 Narrow Tall frets and white dot markers, while a bone nut and 25.5" scale maintain familiar Fender dimensions.
V-Mod III single-coil Telecaster pickups occupy the bridge and neck positions. Standard three-way switching is supplemented by a push-push tone control that activates Series Mode, while the main control layout remains a straightforward master volume and master tone.
The three-saddle bridge can be configured for either top-load or string-through-body operation and incorporates ClassicGear Compensated Brass Bullet saddles. Staggered Fender Standard tuning machines and an asymmetrical Micro-Tilt neck plate complete the setup.
