The instrument’s tried-and-tested Telecaster DNA is complemented here by a number of modern features that skilfully emphasise the Tele’s sound and feel, equipping the instrument to meet the demands of today’s guitarists. Naturally, the Fender American Professional Telecaster MN Black is supplied in a matching Fender hardshell case.Alder Tele body & ‘Super Natural’ satin neckWhilst the body is crafted from solid alder and thus follows the traditional Tele design, the neck – traditionally made from maple – boasts a number of special features. Firstly, the Deep-C profile of the neck’s back offers a balanced shape that provides a solid foundation for both playing in higher positions with the thumb raised and for expressive blues bends. Thanks to the smooth “Super Natural” satin neck finish, changing positions is particularly effortless for the fretting hand. The basic construction is rounded off by a fingerboard featuring 22 narrow-tall frets with a modern 9.5-inch radius.Fender V-Mod III Tele Single-CoilsThis pair of Fender V-Mod III Telecaster single-coils, specially wound for the American Professional series, promises classic Tele character, naturally featuring the model’s famous twang and growl. The two single-coil pickups impress with articulate tones and a wide dynamic range. The tone control on the Fender American Professional Telecaster MN Black features an integrated push/push function, which allows the two pickups to be wired either in series or in parallel as required, enriching the model’s tonal character.
