If there were a Mount Rushmore of the Stratocaster, Stevie Ray Vaughan would be one of the greats enshrined there. Fender’s Stevie Ray Vaughan Stratocaster is a finely crafted like-new version of Vaughan’s favorite guitar – the famous “Number One” Strat® with which he electrified listeners everywhere and seared scorching Texas blues into the top of the charts. For pure SRV tone and style that evokes one of the Stratocaster’s most revered masters, this is the “one.”
A lovely early-60s thick oval neck, narrow tall frets and, unusually, a flatter 12” radius fretboard. A matching set of fixed pole Texas Special single coils, that really bring out the mids of Stevie Ray’s tone. Finished off with all that gold hardware – including the almost-as-signature left-handed tremolo (which, surprisingly is easy and fun to use).
This guitar has mild to moderate playwear, no major dings or scratches, is setup superbly and comes with HSC and some case candy.
