Welcome to Picker's Supply. We are a local Fredericksburg, VA music store serving Virginia and Washington DC for 40 years. We are one of Virginia’s oldest vintage instrument dealers, with vintage Martin guitars, vintage Gibson guitars, banjos, mandolins and many other makers. We also offer complete appraisal services on your instruments.

Picker's Supply has been one of the nation's leading dealers of vintage, rare, and new instruments for over 45 years. One of the reasons for this longevity is our commitment to fair practice and our customer service. We always do our best to identify modifications, repairs, and blemishes on all guitars and try to list them describe and list them as completely as possible. However, with the sheer number of instruments and clients that we deal with with, we cannot be responsible for every modification being listed.
Picker's Supply Description Policy
We welcome phone calls, emails, and texts to provide a complete in hand description of all concerns. This includes finish, cracks, bracing, tuning machines, previous repairs, modifications, etc. We cannot be responsible for anything that we were unaware of or that was not disclosed. If there is an issue with any listing, the guitar may fall under our return policy.
Picker's Supply Return Policy
New Instruments: Unless otherwise indicated at the initial sale, Picker's offers a 7 day return policy on all new instruments that fall under a manufacturer's warranty. Any manufacturer's defects and returns must be handled through the manufacturer. Picker's Supply will assist in facilitating these returns to the best of our ability. In the case of a return, it is the responsibility of the client to return the instrument in the exact condition it was received, all shipping charges to and from are the responsibility of the customer as are all fees associated with the sale (e.g. CC transaction fees, third-party site fees, etc.).
Vintage and Used instruments purchased in store: Unless otherwise indicated at the initial sale, there are no returns on used and vintage instruments. The reasoning is that the guitar was available for inspection and tryout in store. All sales final.
Vintage and Used Instruments Purchased Online: Unless otherwise indicated at the initial sale, there is a 72 hour tryout period during after which, the client must communicate the desire for a return and get authorization from Picker's Supply management. In the case of a return, it is the responsibility of the client to return the instrument in the exact condition it was received, all shipping charges to and from are the responsibility of the customer as are all fees associated with the sale (e.g. CC transaction fees, third-party site fees, etc.).
Returns of Goods Received Damaged: Picker's Supply takes great care in packing and shipping, however we cannot be responsible for damage incurred while shipping through a 3rd party. In the case of damage, it is the responsibility of the customer to document, with photos, all damage to packing, cases and goods. It is the responsibility of the customer to save all packing and shipping materials, to contact Picker's Supply immediately upon discovery, and to hold all merchandise, shipping containers and packing material until further notice. We insure each shipment and although the process may take time, these policies are integral to ensure a complete refund.
