The Fender American Professional Telecaster in Black updates the traditional two-single-coil Tele formula with revised hardware, expanded switching, and a modern neck setup. Its alder body receives a Black polyurethane finish and is paired with a maple fingerboard, three-ply black pickguard, and nickel/chrome hardware.
The maple neck features Fender’s Deep “C” profile, rolled fingerboard edges, and a sculpted heel for easier access to the upper register. A “Super-Natural” satin urethane finish is used on the back of the neck, with gloss urethane on the headstock face. The 9.5"-radius maple fingerboard carries 22 Narrow Tall frets, black dot inlays, and a bone nut.
A pair of V-Mod III single-coil Telecaster pickups is controlled by master volume and tone using ClassicGear Precision potentiometers. The three-position blade provides traditional Telecaster switching, while the push-push tone control activates Series Mode.
The three-saddle bridge can be set up for either top-load or string-through-body operation. ClassicGear Compensated Brass Bullet saddles provide compensation within the traditional three-saddle layout, while staggered Fender Standard tuners complete the string path.
