The J-45 Original preserves the iconic round-shoulder dreadnought body design and the time-tested combination of a genuine mahogany back and sides paired with a solid Sitka spruce top. Its mahogany neck joins the body with a traditional dovetail construction, secured using hot hide glue to promote optimal resonance and tonal transfer. Shaped with a fast, comfortable SlimTaper™ profile, the neck offers smooth, effortless playability. The rosewood fretboard features 20 standard frets and is accented with elegant mother-of-pearl dot inlays.
