Fender TL-52 Telecaster Red
A very nice Fender dating accurately to 1985-86 Japan. Stamped at the neck TL-52EX, this is an "export" issue of this guitar, seen in the Candy Apple Red finish.
The finish shows some nicks and dings present but nothing too glaring (see photos), primarily around its edges. "A" serial stamped ashtray bridge.
Electronics and wiring appear original and functions as it should. Singly ply black guard has shadow from past sticker.
Maybe the most charming aspect of this guitar is its comfortable V shaped neck. These guitars are *very* well regarded amongst players due to the accuracy of reproduction of the original source material. Soft V profile with a bit of heft, the profile itself is clean with strong frets and fingerboard. The neck is straight with the truss rod basically flush to the end of the heel. The action is easy, currently measuring a typical 4-5/64" in height at the twelfth fret.
Includes original tweed hardshell case.
Weighs 8lbs.
