The Ibanez Prestige SR3505-BK is a professional 5-string bass from the Japanese-made Prestige series, combining the exceptionally comfortable SR body shape with premium construction, Nordstrand pickups and a highly flexible active electronics system.

Built in Japan, the SR3505 features an alder body paired with an Atlas-5 HP 5-piece S-TECH roasted maple/walnut neck. The slim and ergonomic SR design makes the instrument extremely comfortable to play, while the roasted neck construction provides excellent stability and a fast, precise feel.

The rosewood fingerboard features elegant Mother of Pearl and Abalone oval inlays, 24 medium frets and Ibanez’s Prestige fret edge treatment for an exceptionally smooth playing surface.

At the heart of the SR3505 are two Nordstrand Big Single pickups with wood covers. These passive single-coil pickups combine the clarity and articulation of a traditional single coil with a fuller, more powerful response particularly well suited to a modern 5-string bass.

The pickups are paired with the Ibanez Sonitech Preamp, offering extensive control over the instrument’s tone. The 3-band EQ can be completely bypassed using the push/pull control, while the Hexa Mid system provides six selectable mid-frequency options through two banks of three frequencies.

This makes the SR3505 extremely versatile — capable of everything from clean, articulate modern bass tones to aggressive mid-forward sounds and warmer passive-style tones.
