Here for sale we have a Fender Thinline Telecaster in Natural Gloss finish. Made in the USA in 2001, this guitar features a bolt-on semi hollow bolt-on construction comprising an Ash body, a Maple neck and a 21 fret Maple fingerboard. The hardware consists of a Chrome 6-Saddle String-Through-Body hardtail bridge and a set of Fender tuning machines. A pair of Fender American Standard Telecaster single-coil pickups are installed and are wired to a 3-way blade switch, master volume and master tone with Fender's Delta Tone system.

The Satin finished Maple neck plays very well, with the 'C' shape profile filling the hand nicely whilst remaining slim enough for fast articulate lines and solos. The Maple fingerboard is pleasant under the fingers, and with the 9.5" radius provides a nicely flat and consistent playing surface right the way up the register. The Medium-jumbo frets assist with string bending and vibrato techniques, whilst the classic single cutaway design of the Telecaster enhances access to the upper frets. As a thinline, the instrument feels nice and lightweight in the arms for a pleasant experience on those long gigs. 

Acoustically this guitar has excellent resonance, with a nicely loud and airy tone. The Fender American Standard Telecaster Singlecoil in the neck position sounds thick and full, with a rich low end great for rhythm tonalities. The middle position provides a punchy, tight midrange great for chordal styles of playing whilst being able to cut through a mix. The Singlecoil in the bridge position produces a clear and articulate top end, balancing very well with a punchy output, providing a great feel and clarity, allowing the player to achieve a wide variety of tones all at the fingertips. The volume and tone controls are very responsive, offering comprehensive control of your tone right at your fingertips.

Aesthetic Condition:

Headstock: Overall very good condition. Wear to the finish is present at the treble edge of the cutaway, with small scratches apparent by low E string tuner. The rear face demonstrates a small indentation to the contour edge. Small, light scuff marks are apparent to the rear face edge at the very tip.

Neck: Overall very good condition. Light scratching is apparent to the fingerboard that cannot be felt beneath the strings. Any other markings to the neck are difficult to discern.

Body: Overall very good condition. All aspects of the body demonstrate light scratching, scuffing and indentations. Notably scuff marks to the side face at the treble side of the neck pocket and at the front face bass side shoulder.

Condition of Frets:

The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.

Current Set Up:

Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (1/8" hex) not included.

Hardware: Fully functional and very good condition. Light concentrated scratching is apparent to the pickguard. Light to mild scratching and tarnishing is apparent to the bridge, controls and tuners.

Structural: No concerns or issues to note.

Height of the string from the 12th Fret-1.5mm - Bass 2mm

Fender Hard Case

Fully functional and very good condition. All aspects of the case demonstrate mild signs of previous use. The ribbon connecting the lid has come unglued, so the lid opens fully. All clasps, compartments and handles are functional.
