Originally finished in **Competition Burgundy—the blue finish associated with that Fender color name—**this example now presents with a distinctive green appearance. The finish has substantial yellowing and discoloration, including what we would describe as nicotine-like staining. Whatever your favorite shade of vintage might be, this bass has a look all its own.

And the best part? It plays and sounds superb. This is a vintage instrument you can enjoy making music with, with plenty of appeal for players and collectors alike.

The bass itself is 100% original, and even its original strap is included. We did not receive a correct vintage case with it, so we are including a brand-new Fender heavy duty gig bag, shown in the photos.

Has the instrument been inspected and set up?
New guitars are shipped with the factory setup because shipping conditions and changes in weather can affect an instrument’s setup. Used guitars receive a basic setup before they are listed and are adjusted to general playing standards.

What should I do if my order arrives damaged?
Please contact us immediately, keep all packaging materials, and hold on to the item until you receive further instructions from us. We will respond within one business day and help you begin the shipping claim. We will replace the damaged item whenever possible. If a replacement is unavailable, you will receive a full refund.
