Selling my beloved upgraded MetroExpress. It’s been fitted with Sadowsky MetroLine Single Coil pickups, VTC Preamp and the MetroLine 19mm spacing brass bridge by Fret Nation.

It’s also been fret leveled and edge rolled (stock MetroExpress fretboard edge was a bit sharp for me). The fret leveling was done by @your_guitar_tech and the upper frets have been leveled to improve clarity up top without buzz.

The roasted neck is super stable, haven’t needed to adjust it throughout the past 8 months since the last string change. Also has very even response throughout the whole board and the D and G strings do not get thin, but rather yields supportive low end too. The B string, especially with a tapered one, is super clear and deep. Can slap on the B just fine for my needs too.

I’ve seen the neck pocket fit extremely tight during some seasons and it really shows the quality of the work in my opinion.

Have absolutely loved this bass, the thump and growl is amazing. Bridge pickup yields a burpy growly bite thanks to the single coils and the neck pickup gives a dense low mid bump similar to a P-Bass.

Id say this bass is in excellent condition with the exception of a small ding on treble side of 3rd fret. Have been told by two luthiers this was an easy fix with wood filler, just haven’t been willing to give it up to a luthier as I like to play it almost everyday. I’m only selling it to fund a MetroLine I really like; would not mind keeping it to run flats on. Sounds great live and recorded on DAW to my ears.

Will come with gig-bag, original electronics and original 18mm bridge.
