XLN Audio Addictive Drums 2: Progressive Metal ADpak (Download)

Progressive Metal brings one of metal’s most expressive drummers, Waltteri Väyrynen (Opeth), into your productions. Recorded on Waltteri’s very own Pearl Reference Pure kit, this ADpak delivers articulate double kicks, dynamic toms for melodic movement, and lush dark cymbals. Used by Waltteri on Opeth’s album “Last Will and Testament”, this kit delivers a studio-proven sound. Pearl Reference Pure shells deliver focused low end with clarity for ghost notes and fast passages, while dual 22” kicks provide tight, articulate power. Four toms and a hand-selected gong drum open melodic phrasing across the kit, and the wide selection of Sabian cymbals adds depth, from dark shimmer to aggressive attack. Every kit piece was played by Waltteri himself, capturing the dynamics and musical expression that define his style.
