The Martin HD12-28 is a trusted choice for players seeking the lush, layered sounds that only a 12-string guitar can deliver. Beloved by generations of players for its ability to add depth and vibrant tonal layers, its Dreadnought body size produces a bold, projective tone with strong bass, clear trebles, and rich overtones, perfectly complemented by the chime and texture of the extra octave strings. Handcrafted with a solid spruce top and solid East Indian rosewood back and sides, the HD12-28 offers a resonant voice that’s balanced for all playing styles, whether you’re fingerpicking or strumming. The satin neck, featuring a Golden Era (GE) Modified Low Oval profile, high-performance taper, and shorter 24.9" scale length, ensures smooth, comfortable playability. Complete with antique white binding, bold herringbone inlay on top, an ebony fingerboard adorned with abalone diamond and square inlays, and chrome enclosed gear tuners, the HD12-28 is a guitar you can trust to unleash the artist within.

Martin’s refreshed Standard Series for 2025 enhances tone, comfort, and style. Sitka spruce GE top bracing, as featured on the Modern Deluxe Series, delivers vintage-inspired tone and sustain, while updates like a reimagined neck profile, thinner fingerboard, and refined bridge and heel improve playability and aesthetics. Each guitar includes a hardshell case.
