Here for sale we have a Fender American Acoustasonic Stratocaster in 3-Tone Sunburst finish. Made in the USA in 2020, this instrument features a hollow body construction comprising Mahogany back and sides, a Solid Sitka Spruce top, bolt-on Mahogany neck and 22 Narrow Tall fret Ebony fingerboard with matching bridge. This guitar is fitted with Chrome hardware including a set of Fender Standard Sealed Staggered tuning machines. A revolution Fender/Fishman-designed acoustic engine is featured consisting of a Under-Saddle Piezo, Internal Body Sensor and N4 Magnetic which are wired to a 5-way blade selector, master volume and a blend control.

The Mahogany neck plays very well, with a Modern ‘Deep C’ profile filling the hand nicely for a confident articulate grip that allows for comfortable fretting and easy playability in all registers. The double cutaway design and shallow body depth enhance access to the upper frets, meaning you can make use of all 22 frets. The Ebony fingerboard provides effortless transitions under the fingers, along with the 12" radius offering playability more akin to an electric guitar, facilitating electric-specific techniques such as string bending. The body is nice and slim, feeling very manageable in both standing and seated positions. 

The natural acoustic voice of this guitar is warm and detailed, with the Mahogany back and sides producing a punchy and responsive midrange. The Solid Sitka Spruce top provides a balanced, seasoned tone with plenty of low end power and warm detail. The understated high end of this guitar remains detailed but subtle, adding unique character to this instrument. This guitar features a Transverse bracing design, this design helps the Acoustasonic Stratocaster to achieve the response and harmonic breadth of a typical acoustic guitar, where you can feel the vibrations resonating through your body. Aesthetic Condition:

Headstock: Overall excellent condition, both bottom edges of the headstock demonstrate light indentation which do not pierce the finish.

Neck: Overall excellent condition, the rear of the neck demonstrates infrequent light indentation, difficult to discern both visually and beneath the thumb from the open pore finish. `

Body: Overall very good condition, a small finish imperfection can be identified towards the edge of the treble side lower bout. Between the soundhole and the treble side waist the finish has buffed from satin to gloss through regular use. This can also be identified to the bass side lower bout edge where the arm contour is. The bass side lower bout edge demonstrates a small chip to the finish revealing the natural colour of the wood beneath. All aspects of the body demonstrate light scratching and indentation visible only under direct lighting at certain angles.

Condition of Frets:

The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for future fret work.

Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (1/8" hex) not included.
