This is a 1954 Gibson es-125 full-depth 16" archtop. It is all original -- EXCEPT bridge and tuners have been replaced. The guitar has a had a full set up and fret level by luthier Mark Campellone. Frets are very tall and original -- the guitar was never played much. The guitar is VERY clean with only light play wear, and Mark and I were both impressed with this one....the neck set/neck angle is perfect...the neck is very straight and -following Mark's set up - the guitar has close action and plays great! If you are looking for a stellar example of an es125 from this golden era - one with only light play wear - this is a fantastic example. Mark added the bridge and made sure the radius on top matched the fingerboard. The tuners are Kluson repro that occupy the original holes, and the the push-in ferrules are the original ones.

Just a little headstock edge wear. A couple minor chips on back of the neck (finish only - easily filled --- see pic). Overall, strikingly clean and better than any mid 50s es125 I have see!

Neck profile: depth at tenth fret - 1 inch, and 15/16ths at first fret

It is kind of a round full C shape...not overly chunky....feels good and pretty typical of the es125 of this era.

Pickup and all wiring is original. Knobs, tailpiece, and pickguard are also original.

Fantastic example to play or for a collection.
