Played bass in several bands when young and sure wish I had this one then. Took a new Fender MonoNeon Active Bass 5V body which I believe is Fenders Best and upgraded with a Klos solid graphite neck, nothing gives more resonance than graphite, and this one sure has it.

The MonoNeon is a bass designed for professionals with an active system. In addition to standard controls it also features a treble, mid-range, and bass EG booster for extended voice control as well as a micro kill switch.

Custom fireball matched pickups, which are distinctive, clear and hot.

The Thomastic strings are the best I know of, super tone and a purely silky glassy like feeling. Fully adjustable high mass bridge, set to medium low action, remarkably fine playing neck, you can slap this piece around and get very little low E rattle.

Has a Gator Icon case, thick padded plush case, as good as it gets, including a waterproof cover.

In order to get a correct alignment the neck has been glued and screwed on, thus is not changeable. I marked it a bit with glue by the back neck plate which is just visible in photo with close up of back with mark hard to see just below the 3 reflections, very minor.The Klos neck had a slightly different heal than the Fender, thus you can notice a space on each side of neck joint, unnoticed when playing and does not effect quality of sound.

These upgrades are expensive as you know and run several hundred dollars over the original bass, thus listing price, but if you purchase and are not happy, return within the 2 week window, undamaged, and I'll send you a return shipping label plus refund total amount paid.
