The Neumann TLM 49 is a large-diaphragm studio condenser microphone with a fixed cardioid polar pattern. It uses the same K 47-style capsule found in Neumann's U 47 and M 49 microphones, paired with a transformerless solid-state circuit. The microphone has a frequency response of 20 Hz to 20 kHz, a sensitivity of 13 mV/Pa, and an A-weighted self-noise level of 12 dB-A. It operates on standard 48V phantom power and connects through a three-pin XLR output.
