A modern nylon-string Silent Guitar built for quiet practice, expressive playing, recording, and easy travel.

• Nylon-string feel with a compact silent-body design
• SRT-powered preamp delivers natural amplified tone
• Extremely low acoustic volume ideal for quiet practice
• Lightweight travel-friendly frame with removable upper section
• Translucent Black finish delivers modern visual depth and stage-ready character

The Yamaha SLG200N gives nylon-string players a practical and highly portable way to play almost anywhere without the volume of a traditional classical guitar. Its silent-body construction dramatically reduces acoustic output, making it ideal for apartment living, late-night practice, travel, backstage warmups, and quiet personal playing environments.

While compact and lightweight, the SLG200N still preserves the familiar feel and expressive response of a nylon-string instrument. The slim modern frame keeps the instrument comfortable and easy to transport while maintaining enough physical reference points to feel natural in playing position.

The onboard SRT-powered preamp system is designed to recreate the resonance and ambience of a professionally miked nylon-string guitar. Through headphones, studio monitors, an acoustic amplifier, or a recording interface, the SLG200N delivers a more realistic and spacious sound than a traditional direct piezo system.

The silent-body design also makes the SLG200N especially useful for recording setups where isolation and volume control are important. Players can practice or record with minimal room noise while still maintaining expressive dynamics and natural nylon-string articulation.

The Translucent Black finish gives the SLG200N a more contemporary and stage-oriented appearance while complementing the futuristic silent-guitar frame design.
