A concert-style acoustic-electric guitar designed for players who want balanced tone, comfortable playability, and dependable stage-ready performance in a bold modern finish.
- Solid spruce top delivers clear articulation and responsive acoustic dynamics
- Concert cutaway body offers balanced projection with comfortable handling
- Scalloped bracing enhances resonance and tonal warmth
- SYSTEM66 electronics provide natural amplified acoustic tone
- Ruby Red finish adds bold visual character with a clean stage-ready appearance
The Yamaha FSX800C combines the comfortable feel of Yamaha’s concert-body FS platform with practical stage-ready electronics and a modern cutaway design built for live performance. Its solid spruce top delivers articulate projection and responsive dynamics, while the compact concert body keeps the playing experience comfortable and controlled during long rehearsals, recording sessions, or live sets.
Yamaha’s scalloped bracing design improves resonance and low-end warmth while maintaining excellent clarity and note separation across a wide range of playing styles. Compared to a larger dreadnought body, the FSX800C provides a more focused acoustic response that works especially well for fingerstyle players, singer-songwriters, and musicians who prefer balanced articulation over oversized low end.
Equipped with Yamaha’s SYSTEM66 electronics and under-saddle piezo pickup, the FSX800C delivers dependable amplified tone with intuitive onboard controls for rehearsal, recording, and live performance. The Ruby Red finish gives the guitar a more distinctive visual personality while still maintaining the clean and musician-focused feel Yamaha acoustics are known for.
