Overview

From Dave Smith of today's Dave Smith Instruments, the Sequential Circuits Pro One is a lower-cost, monophonic adaptation of the classic Prophet 5. Released in 1981, the Pro One featured a single voice but two oscillators for added sonic flexibility, a four-pole low pass filter, two ADSR envelope filters, along with an arpeggiator and a very basic sequencer. Topped off with hyper-flexible modulation routing in its relatively compact body, the Sequential Circuits Pro One is am impressive, versatile synth in its own right.
