Internal markings appear to date the amp to 1988.This is the later-era 2205 featuring two-channel operation, master volume, spring reverb and effects loop. It delivers classic JCM800 character, from articulate British crunch to saturated hard-rock and metal tones.The amp is in exceptionally clean cosmetic condition for its age, as shown in the photos. I have used it limitedly for past ten years and it’s time to get it to someone who will use it - too good to sit in my studio - I have original foot switch but it’s missing the decals . Amp is missing the plastic caps around the handle- I love effect loop in my set up and this Marshall delivers that- additionally clean channel bleed is not an issue on this - I had that worked on and used the clean channel in all my set upsThis is a great player-grade vintage Marshall with the tone and feel these amps are known for.Will be packed carefully and fully insured for shipping.
