The Dave Smith Instruments DSM02 Character Module is DSI's second Eurorack module, featuring the Character effect section from the Prophet 12 and Pro 2 hybrid analog synthesizers. The Character section uses five digital effects: Girth, Air, Decimate, Hack, and Drive. Girth and Air boost the bass and treble harmonics of the signal, Decimate and Hack are a sample-rate reducer and bit-crusher respectively, and the Drive control provides overdriven saturation. Along with CV inputs for each control as well as dual audio inputs and outputs, the DSM02 comes in a 14 HP width.
