About this listing
For sale is a 2012 Collings 290 DC S. The pickup has been upgraded to a Righteous Sound King Street. The range and quality of tones from the single p-90 is incredible. Not having an additional neck pickup magnetic pull greatly increases the liveliness of the guitar. The fit and finish is impeccable, with playability off the charts as you’d expect from a Collings. There are two small paint chips of the headstock from normal playing (see pic). I consider it a signed of a well played and loved. It’s an ultralight at 7.6 lbs. I’ll regret not holding onto this one for the personal collection. Thanks for looking!JR
