Martin OM-28 Spruce & Indian Rosewood #3051409

The Martin OM-28 is a timeless Orchestra Model that blends legendary Martin craftsmanship with exceptional balance, articulation, and dynamic response. Built with a solid spruce top finished in gloss with a beautifully aged toner, it is paired with East Indian rosewood back and sides to produce rich overtones, powerful projection, and remarkable clarity across the tonal spectrum. Bold herringbone top inlay, Style 28 multi-stripe appointments, antique white binding, and faux tortoise accents complete the instrument's iconic vintage-inspired aesthetic. Weighing just 4 lbs. 3 oz., the OM-28 offers outstanding comfort whether you're performing, recording, or playing at home.

The select hardwood neck features Martin's GE Modified Low Oval profile with a High-Performance Taper, providing a fast, comfortable feel that accommodates a wide range of playing styles. An ebony fingerboard with 20 frets, elegant abalone Diamonds and Squares Long inlays, a 25.4-inch scale length, and a 1 3/4-inch bone nut deliver exceptional playability and precise intonation. The traditional dovetail neck joint, combined with Martin's Plek process, ensures outstanding fit, accuracy, and long-term performance.

Its solid tonewood construction is enhanced by GE-Scalloped 1/4-inch spruce X-bracing, allowing the top to resonate freely for impressive responsiveness, warmth, and sustain. Premium appointments include an ebony GE Modern Belly bridge with a compensated bone saddle, bone bridge pins with faux tortoise dots, nickel open-gear tuning machines with butterbean knobs, an East Indian rosewood headplate with the classic Old Style script logo, and a molded hardshell case for secure protection. With no onboard electronics, the OM-28 delivers the pure, unmistakable acoustic voice that has made this model a favorite among discerning players for generations.
