Make: Vox

Model: JMI AC30 Super Twin Copper Plate

Year: 1964

Condition: Good

Transformer: Original Transformers

Notes: This amazing Vox JMI AC30 Super Twin Copper Plate from 1964 has all the vibe and feel you could want from a classic Vox AC30. This amp features 3 channels with 2 inputs each - a normal, brilliant and vibrato channel. The amp has vibrato controls to change from tremolo to vibrato and a speed control, a volume control for each channel and a tone circuit that controls the treble, bass and cut controls. The amp is currently wired to the 8ohm output tab on the transformer but has a 16ohm option if you want to make that change. Additionally the footswitch input is also on the back. This amp has the original transformers, was converted to USA voltage back in 80's and has had several caps, resistors and other changes made. This amp was recently retubed and serviced receiving a clean bill of health from our amp tech. This amp has obviously been rehoused and does not include the original serial number plate, but based on our research this would be from 1964. This amp is definitely player grade but still preserves the vintage tone and vibe we all love from JMI AC30's.
