This is how the genius of Masterbuilder Austin MacNutt reveals itself in his nod to the golden yesteryears. Hidden in the bridge position is a handwound Josefina Campos Twisted Tele pickup, turning a traditional Stratocaster into an absolute tone beast. Paired with handwound Fat '50s in the neck and middle, this bespoke engine transitions seamlessly from thick, glassy Strat chime to aggressive, muscular Telecaster twang. The physical foundation is just as deliberate. Carved from a two-piece alder body featuring deep, era-accurate contours, it’s finished in a timeless 3-Color Sunburst lacquer and treated to a tasteful Journeyman Relic. This grants the instrument the resonance and broken-in charm of a carefully preserved vintage original. For uncompromising stability, MacNutt anchored the build with a high-grade quartersawn maple neck carved to a highly comfortable 60 Style Oval "C" profile. Topped with a premium AAA rosewood fingerboard, a bone nut, and narrow tall frets on a modern 9.5-inch radius.
