Danelectro U-1 1956 - coral
It appears to be all original
It does have some finish checking and some small chips and dings, but overall it's fairly clean for a 70-year-old guitar.
Frets have been cleaned & polished, fretboard has been cleaned & oiled. (The frets were nasty green with corrosion/oxidation when it came in!)
The original one-piece bridge saddle has been adjusted so the intonation is quite close on all 6 strings.
Tuners have been properly cleaned & lubricated to ensure smooth operation.
The volume pot should be replaced--it works properly in approx. top 1/4 of its range but no volume below that--we're leaving it "as is" to maintain originality.
Output jack appears to have been damaged and repaired.
Includes newer hsc shown.
