EarthQuaker Devices Spires Fuzz Doubler in very good/excellent used condition with original box. Serial #036, handmade in Akron, Ohio.
The Spires is a discontinued dual-fuzz pedal from EarthQuaker Devices, combining two different fuzz circuits in one box. The Green channel is EQD’s take on the vintage Rosac Electronic Nu-Fuzz, with a raw, blown-out, full-on fuzz character. The Red channel is a silicon version of EQD’s discontinued Dream Crusher, giving you a more classic two-transistor fuzz sound with lots of output and a usable Fuzz control.
Controls include Green, Tone, Red, and Fuzz, with a dedicated Channel footswitch to switch between the two fuzz voices and an Activate footswitch for bypass. Great for garage rock, psych, doom, noise rock, punk, shoegaze, heavy leads, and weird vintage-fuzz textures.
Pedal is clean overall and works properly. Knobs, switches, jacks, LEDs, and footswitches all function as they should. Low serial number #036 makes this a cool one for EQD collectors.
Takes standard 9V DC center-negative power. Power supply not included.
