Light wear: Very Little Signs of Wear. Damage: None.

The Browne Amplification Atom Nashville Overdrive is heavily inspired by the classic Nobels ODR-1 circuit, but it is not a direct clone. It serves as the standalone, tweaked version of the "Green Channel" from Browne's popular Protein dual overdrive. The circuit includes several key modifications to the original Nobels design. Lower Gain: The overall gain is dialed back so the entire sweep of the drive knob remains usable. EQ Tweaks: Midrange frequencies are restored and the low end is tightened. This eliminates the excessive bass and scooped mids often found in stock ODR-1. Tube-like Response: A redesigned power section adds sag, allowing a thin-sounding amp to feel and sound like a pushed tube amp.

Product Features

• Circuit Roots: Heavy inspiration from the Nobels ODR-1, re-tuned to sit in a tonal sweet spot between an ODR-1 and a Tube Screamer.
• Redesigned Power Section: Delivers a dynamic "sag" that feels and responds like a pushed, overdriven tube amp.
• User-Friendly Gain: The gain range was lowered compared to standard ODR-style pedals, making the entire sweep of the knob musically useful without getting overly muddy or compressed.
• EQ Shaping: Features a tightened low-end and boosted mid-range for added beef and clarity, ensuring chords and solos always cut through the mix.
• Control Layout: Features intuitive Level, Drive, and Tone knobs. The Tone control acts dynamically on mid-range frequencies, rather than just cutting/boosting treble.
• Modern Build: Utilizes soft-touch silent switching, an adjustable power-up state (memorizing whether you want the pedal on or off when initially plugging in), and top-mounted jacks.
• Power Requirements: Operates on standard 9V DC center-negative power with a current draw of 75mA.
